After all the bad weather since Christmas it turned a lot milder and the forecast was good for several days so the renderers turned up and applied the final coat of render. This meant that we could install the remaining double glazed units in the windows. The house is now a lot quieter as we don't have plastic sheets flapping around plus the glazed units stop any noise. We are very pleased that we went with the solar control glass for the front as it seems to be doing its job well. We'll have to wait and see but so far so good.
